InSituArts represents the exceptional picture of the earth. We are able to fix pictures of various layers of the earth true to nature by a special approx. 70 years old procedure (so called lacquer film method by E. Voigt).

InSituArts rediscovered the aesthetic potential of the earth and tries to record its natural beauty on unique pictures. Every exhibit is a unicum with a textural surface and reproduces the natural conditions exactly. In this way the unbelievable variety of colours and shapes is reflected which only “Mother Earth” could create within millions of years.

InSituArts would not like to confine itself to the aesthetic point of view with its work but delivers for every picture a professionally founded certificate about the visible structures and thrilling events millions of years ago. If digging tracks of crustaceans, relicts of the ice age, faults in different sediments caused by earth quakes or deposits of the deep sea – these are all parts of a breathtaking natural story that we record in our pictures.

By the means of co-operation between the grad. Museologist Frank Bach (left), grad. Geologist Matthias Henniger (centre) and grad. Geologist Sebastian Quart (right) the preserving, the aesthetic as well as the scientific demands of our work are covered.
However, nature is and will remain the true artist.
